qin qin qin qin qin qin!

as quoted from valerie. that's how all the dreary co practices end. we greet mr.g i remove the pipa nails, keep the stand, put down my pipa and go help gen carry her yang qin down. on our way out we pass valerie who never fails to go"qin qin qin qin qin qin!" with her signature hand gesture. to me it is a signature for i have seen it too many times. at once a smile creeps onto both our faces. we go down the stairs with a lighter mood. en route to the co room we devise ways on how to retort her Qins. so we came up with "HU hu hu hu hu hu!" but she doesn't get it.she will in time to come i guess.we return to the gym to take my pipa, her stand and our bags. after ridding the burden, we leave the co free as birds relieved that it was over. ONLY to have something to spoil it all; the awareness that there was co the next day. ahh but there is fun. vel was having a worm war. she said in a uber cute babyish voice,"its a little worm" and flicked it at me. so i peeled the strands and played along, returning the favour. gosh, then she flips to the last page of the file where all her old pieces of tape are pasted. she harvested more "worms" and continued her flicking activities. weirdly enough i enjoyed flinching away and trying to avoid having those worms littered over my pinafore. even childish actions can bring about so much joy and laughter. what a brilliant example of childlike and simplistic pleasures in life.

this week i feel like a poet i wrote so many poems 5 to be precise. one for geog, two for the ss creative project, one during ss lesson as group work, and another for lit a 13 stanza poem on TKAMB's 13 parts (NOTE TO SELF:which i haven't perfected yet.) oh how should i go about writing it..
i haven't written any poetry since the creative writing course last year.these assignments seemed to have rekindled the passion i have for writing. i feel so inclined to continue writing. alas, time does not permit to do so. nevertheless i shall persist in this persuasion. i've decided to spend my only leisure time which is this exact moment writing and so i am.

where did i leave off? oh yes i shall copy and paste from the previous entry for my own convenience.

here it is dated OCT 21 gosh its been a long while
she was far too excited to rest well last night. as the sunlight seeped through the filmy curtains of my room, she felt a sense of anticipation for what was ahead of her. without further hesitation, she got out of bed. as always,Martinne, the french serving maid was already waiting with her attire for the day. today, she would have sewing and etiquette lessons. nothing too trying she thought. she'd pretty much believed that her embroidery was fine and her mannerism pleasant. surely, no mishap would happen. after all these were where her confidence lied in. as directed, she made her way to the east drawing room. opening the doors, she found that the furniture had been rearranged. the long writing table was at the far end of the room. near the fireplace were two armchairs with a tea table in front of the two. the piano moved to another corner of room, diagonally across from the writing desk. shelves after shelves filled with books on various subjects covered the four walls. after taking in the environment before her, she realised that the room was made to be her classroom. or was it a room of torture? somehow it was overwhelming seeing all that was put before her. the remaining area of the room was left clear of furnishings--for dancing. the most dreadful requirement of all. as the clock struck nine, she knew that it was far too late even to make her escape or even recollect her thoughts. just as she had expected, mademoiselle Adelaide was a punctual woman. Adelaide heard timid knocks against the heavy oak doors. she thought of how similar the place was compared to jail cell. heavy doors indeed."come in." she called with a sigh of submission. a maid showed mademoiselle Adelaide in. both curtsied and introductions were made. the first request made by MA was that Adelaide bring out samples of her embroidery for her viewing. with butterflies in her stomach, she handed her pride over; a stitching of the beautiful flowers in spring. MA took the embroidered silk. she... there was a keen gleam in her eyes as she surveyed her work taking in every minute detail, every single stitch. occasionally, her eyebrows tightened into a frown. "this is not good. the stitches are uneven here and too large in other places. nevertheless, she has a talent for the design is exquisite." MA thought. with a stiff cough MA broke the tense atmosphere that had built up in the room. she said to the poor girl who was beside herself with worry," this piece is only acceptable. i appreciate the thought put into the exquisite design. however, i am afraid your skills leaves so much to be desired. such an intricate art needs near perfect stitches, i would be delighted to educate you on such skills if you may." Adella was taken aback by MA critique of her work. she shrunk back in her chair, feeling weak. she had never expected such comments to be said about work. was it not her who received countless number of compliments regarding her embroidery? had she not heard her mother and her friends cooing over her works? then it struck her, those were only sweet falsehoods, said only to make her happy.
