hei pi niu er in other words a black cow or happy new year
that was min er's invention by the way. today's celebration was alright i guess. finally we get the official reason to sit at the gallery. the bad thing about the performance was that we had to sit clutching our instruments for more than an hour. the stage was steaming. or maybe it was just me. that awfully intelligent veltrice was an awardee so her pipa was left to my care. thank goodness gen helped:) vel you owe us for babysitting your pipa XDXD the actual performance was okay except for some slip at the end of he xin nian. after the performance we exited from backstage. as we walked out of the changing room we were greeted by over enthusiastic clapping and cheering. it felt so weird. nevertheless, i notice that brought a smile to all our faces including yours truly. then, it was time for class party. the children were really cute. mw and i were supposed to be a buddy but because of being trapped on stage, that didn't happen. the food was quite nice. after eating, we did the usual;playing games. i didn't join in for i was finding the nice parts in twilight for ming wai to read. they were playing musical chairs. there was sabotage and our form teacher ms koh was forced into doing forfeit. suddenly, an idea came that we should invite 4/4. they came running with mrs siva in tow. then the "show" began. the two were dancing in some retro style much to the delight of all of us who were clapping and cheering wildly. it was such a funny sight. we continued with more games and soon it was time to go home.
