playtime is over sadly
so i have just returned from my family holiday in korea. to put it simply it was fun yet educational. at the very least i managed to achieve/aqquired a few things or so.
thing achieved NO 1: i bought a new dolly!! when we approached the store i was like thats it i want to buy her. it an instant attraction to me. she's an empress. i love her elaborate plaits and the ornaments on it. and the dress, its so intricate. her price tag is rather hefty though 20,000 won which is like SGD 22 gosh for a decorative doll without movable limbs or a voice (like my regency doll) she is exhorbitant. haha well she is Pretty! the sad thing is that because of her plaits she's too tall to fit in my doll's display cabinet so its kinda sad seeing her all lonely on her own on the table. :(
thing achieved NO 2 : a whole bunch of cosmetic products and an insight to the vain world of women. we went to dongdaemun which is a shopping street. there we came across Misha our all time favourite korean cosmetics store. and there was a sale. so us girls each had new pampering products. i so love the new and improved lip gloss brush. now instead of twisting to apply the gloss, a mere click would do. the cute thing is that its purple. so exotic yet not gothic. sweet. i somehow like the colour so much better than the clinique lipstick (shimmery silver pink) that my dad bought for me. weird i know, just how old am i anyway why do i even need to put on lipstick. but its the thought that counts thats why i started wearing it to thank him for it.gosh speaking of make up i really feel like a bimbo. well its a stereotypical girl's thing right? oh and the latest thing there is called the BB cream which is a 1 step cream that enables you to have the effect of foundation and the protection of sun screen. well thats not for me as i don't put on make up on a regular basis unless there is a function to attend. and masks too and this and that.............
thing achieved NO3: food yummy food. enjoyed the bibimbab and the ginseng especially. and of course the tea. when we reached the korean airport we went to the convienience store hoping to find the cofee +tea we drank during the last trip but there wasn't. randomly we picked up a bottle of tea called 17 cha. gosh it was sonice so for the next six days we replenished our supply of the beverage. strawberries were another must. bought them at the roadside and the market and brought them back to the hotel. so delightful.
thing achieved NO4: another fancy dress up picture to add to my collection. we got to play dress up in the korean costumes. so fun. i can't get over the little girl game of dress up.
thing achieved NO 5 : i made a lil snow man. the last time i didn't bother.or maybe there was not enough snow. so cute.
thing achieved NO6 : my desire to ski has been satisfied in fact i'd prefer not to. having to worry about breaking your hand is too much of a distraction. i couldn't even ski properly. evil pipa's fault! XD
