the needle and the outing
today was the flu jab day. just as expected, it was a short sharp pain! for once i actually kept silent and didn't go "ow" like last year when i got the shot. after the jab,min er, ming wai and i went to marina square( purely for convenience sake as the place is really boring). it felt really weird to be walking around in our school U so it was a sure thing that our fist stop was to the toilet.its was funny hearing the phone conversation between mw and valerie."just come in and shout Mingwai and you'll find me." true enough we soon heard valerie's greetings. lol she actually came!! fancy us meeting in a weird place such as a toilet. from the ladies, we went to Macs for lunch. by that time, it was simply impossible to catch a movie seeing that the injection ended close to 2 and the movie was at 1.40. so we went bowling. finally, there is a day when mw is no longer the champion. our goal has finally been achieved, a record broken. who, you may ask was the record breaker. it was our dear min er. yay! three cheers for her!! meanwhile i manged to improve my personal best. yayies!
on the way to suntec, mw and i were reminiscing about the old choir days. to me it was fun singing in a comical manner. well i think it was since when i sang miner and valerie turned around to smile. there were lyrics in the songs which i forgot and so i substituted it with "i dunno what". this was much to ming wai's delight for she laughed. haha. it was v.fun indeed.
at suntec, we took neo prints. we didn't really expect to have to pose for 8 photos. it was quite an enjoyment.this was especially for the part where we got to decorate them:)
somehow by coincidence some of the pictures seemed so apt. for example, there was one with us in a studying scene. the two books were English and Geog. me+val= literature in ENGLISH, ming wai+min er= Geog. haha.
and i must talk about the part where ming wai was ever so enthu. as we passed a Adidas store, mw started exclaiming ,"You See! You see!" it took me a while to realise that all the commotion was caused by the big poster with mw's idol. Steven Gerrard from liverpool. to know more you can read the account in min er's blog!!
from there, we went our separate ways back to our home sweet home, and that concludes the wonderful day out with my dearest friends.
