the mistresses
there were 9 of them altogether. 9 books, all embossed with her initials lay on her table. each was of a different colour,supposedly for easy differentiation between each area of her finishing education. feeling a little anxious she assured herself,"Adelaide Honora, you shall not be weak willed. you will make it and meet all expectations." after all wasn't she the receiver of numerous compliments? with new found determination, she started on the first book- the one that was royal blue in colour. sewing would be taught by mademoiselle adella . the second book of amber told that lady Geneve would be her etiquette mistress. the third book,turquoise in colour revealed that her music mistress would be lady Charlotte.the fourth book divulged that for penmanship she was under lady Lillian. the fifth revealed who was her dance mistress- lady Letitia. the sixth told that the art of flower arrangement would be taught by lady Jessamine. the seventh showed her that lady Rowena would teach her art. literature would be taught by lady Aurelia the eight book revealed. the last book of the pile told her about her singing mistress,- lady Estelle. she wondered how the nine lessons with the nine mistresses would be like. thankfully she did not have to be in suspense for long. it was only a short wait for lessons began tomorrow.....
