gosh those who know me well, you know its true. but i really shouldn't be doing such nonsense right now. i know i know naughty me. i actually wonder why i am such a disgrace. back to my story
breakfast in the household was hardly a simple affair of tea and toast. although it was not a formal dinner,silver cutlery were arranged in formations so precise that they were equidistant from each other. caring not to make the unnecessary sound of the chair scraping against the marble floor,she took her place at the table. she greeted her family who nodded and mumbled greetings in acknowledgement. for a while there were no sounds except for the occasional clinking of tea cups against teeth or the crumbling of bread. everyone seemed to be in a daze. perhaps they were not fully awake yet.after having her fill, she returned to her room. the maid was already waiting, ready to dress her hair for the day's events. she sat still while the maid's hands were busy with her hair, sweeping her curls in a circlet. there after, the maid would read off from a list of the days activities. today, there was nothing to look forward to. she could only while away her time with embroidery and literature. her life was dreary and bland, devoid of excitement. yet, she had no reason to be dissatisfied. after all, she did not have to work. all that she needed to do was to learn the ways of a lady. the rest was done by the maids and servants. she had grown weary of all the idleness and excessive grandeur of her lifestyle. her days were spent with similar pursuits......
